3/12/06, Boston Run to Remember Half-Marathon, Boston, MA

Bill Reynolds

The Marathon started at 8:15 a.m. on March 12 with a great temperature of 48 degrees. The run passed from Boston Harbor to Harvard Yard and back.  The course ran by MIT, the Charles River, Harvard, Boston Common, and the State House to name a few. It was a great race. The expo was great and Boston is a very runner friendly city. Of course, most of the focus is on the Marathon. My favorite part of Boston is that there is a Dunkin Donuts every 1/4 mile.  I would strongly suggest that they develop the Run to Dunkin Donuts Race.  The object would be to run a long course and the water stops would be Dunkin Donuts stores.

Anyway, had a great time.
